Buying

The buy view lists the official BYD range alongside published vehicles, filterable by make, model, price band, model year, fuel, body type, transmission and condition. A price shown as on request means no price has been published for that vehicle.

A vehicle is described as JOY Verified only after the required verification status has been recorded in the marketplace; until then a listing is simply available.

Official-range entries describe the manufacturer's catalogue vehicle and are labelled separately from inspected stock, so the two are never presented as the same kind of evidence.

Selling

Sellers describe their vehicle, receive an indicative range and book an inspection, so a final position rests on evidence rather than a guess. An indicative range is a market estimate with stated uncertainty. It is not a purchase offer.

A signed-in customer account is required to submit a sale request so that the whole journey stays linked to its owner.

Importing

Import customers describe the vehicle, budget and timing, and the JOY team responds with sourcing options. A request is an enquiry, not an order.

Customs duty, taxes and shipping depend on the specific vehicle and the rules in force at clearance, so they are confirmed case by case rather than quoted from a generic table.

Inspection

Inspections are carried out by JOY-approved workshops and reviewed by a JOY inspector. Each report is chained to the previous one so that a later change to the record is detectable.

A report is a recorded assessment at the time of inspection. It supports a buying or selling decision and is not a warranty of future condition.
