Trade OS B2B Marketplace — Open Wholesale Pricing
The Trade OS B2B Marketplace is the open wholesale storefront for automotive parts. It publishes what a trade quantity actually costs before anyone signs in, and shares one catalogue, inventory and fitment record with the retail storefront.
Prices are open, ordering needs an account
Every published trade price and the whole quantity ladder are visible to anonymous visitors. There is no registration wall, no document submission and no request step placed in front of a published number, and no KYC or subscription is needed to see one.
Placing an order is different. A free JOY trade account is required to add a line to a cart and to check out, so a buyer signs up and signs in to purchase but never to compare. Verification remains separate again and governs financial privileges: credit terms, invoicing and deferred settlement require an approved business profile.
Quantity pricing from 15 percent below retail
Published pricing starts approximately 15 percent below the retail price of the same part at the minimum order quantity, and deepens with volume to approximately 30 percent at the largest published break. Because the minimum order quantity sits at the shallowest break, no line on this storefront is sold at the plain retail price.
The published figure is what checkout charges. Each break is also constrained by an absolute margin floor, so on a low-margin category such as wheels and tyres the achieved discount can be smaller than the nominal ladder, and the storefront publishes the constrained number rather than the aspirational one. Quantities beyond the published ladder are answered with a contract quote instead of a published price.
One catalogue, two storefronts
Retail and the Trade OS B2B Marketplace are two views of the same catalogue, inventory, vendor supply and vehicle fitment evidence. A part carries the same identity, the same compatibility record and the same stock position in both; what differs is commercial, not factual.
A buyer who needs a single piece can move to the retail view of the same part, and a buyer who needs volume can move to the trade view, without searching again.
Minimum order quantities follow the product
The minimum order quantity on this storefront is 10 units, rounded up to a whole number of packs for categories that are sold as cartons or sets. A category shipping in sixes therefore carries a minimum of 12 rather than an unshippable 10, and expresses its quantity breaks in whole packs.
Retail is unaffected by that floor: a single piece of the same part remains purchasable through the retail storefront. Stock, lead time and final commercial terms are confirmed from authenticated JOY systems rather than from public listing content.
Trade OS operating surfaces are unchanged
This is the marketplace lane of Trade OS, not a replacement for it. The Trade OS diagnostic, cockpit, catalogue-intelligence, visual parts and procurement surfaces keep their own routes and their own access rules, and continue to require a signed-in and approved account where they did before.
