# Developers: connect to JOY Automart

> Connect an AI assistant or your own software to JOY Automart's public, read-only parts and vehicle data in Bangladesh through MCP or OpenAPI. Prices are in BDT.

JOY Automart publishes a public, read-only MCP server and a matching OpenAPI document for its car parts catalogue and JOY Auto Exchange vehicle listings in Bangladesh. Prices are in BDT. No sign-in is needed to read public data.

## MCP server

Endpoint: https://www.joyautomart.com/mcp. Transport: Streamable HTTP, with JSON-RPC 2.0 requests sent by POST. It is not the legacy SSE transport, and a plain GET returns 405.

The server card at https://www.joyautomart.com/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json lists the supported protocol versions and tools. The same card is also served at https://www.joyautomart.com/.well-known/mcp.json.

## Public tools

Without a key, tools/list returns eight read-only tools: search_parts, get_part, search_vehicles, get_vehicle, compare_vehicles, get_auction_status, get_buying_guide and prepare_buyer_handoff.

search_parts accepts English, Bangla or Banglish queries. Fitment results are candidates, not guarantees: confirm the chassis code or OEM part number with JOY before buying.

prepare_buyer_handoff only composes a product link and a WhatsApp message for a human buyer. No public tool places an order or takes a payment.

## OpenAPI

The public OpenAPI 3.1 document is at https://www.joyautomart.com/openapi.json and at https://www.joyautomart.com/api/v1/openapi.json. It describes the public, unauthenticated, read-only endpoints for parts search and detail, vehicle search and detail, retail buying terms and the agent product feed.

To compare vehicles over OpenAPI, read each listing with the vehicle detail endpoint. The MCP tool compare_vehicles does this for 2 to 4 listings.

## Buyer agent keys

An eligible buyer can create an agent key at /account/ai-agents and choose permissions, spending limits and an expiry. With the key sent as a Bearer token, the same MCP server also offers quotes, sourcing requests, order tracking and bounded cash-on-delivery or approved-credit orders. Online card payment always stays in JOY's human checkout.

Public discovery resources are read-only and grant no operational authority. Owner and Admin routes, privileged agents, write operations, deployments, financial actions and customer records require authentication and JOY Governance authorization.
