Dealer OS is the JOY Automart operating surface for vehicle retail and trade. It supports dealer operations across inventory context, customer workflow, valuation inputs and the commercial steps between enquiry and handover.

## Operating scope

Dealer OS is designed around the practical sequence a dealer works through: acquire, verify, prepare, price, publish, respond, negotiate and hand over, with vehicle identity and condition evidence carried across every step.

JOY Auto Exchange connects the same vehicle records to retail and B2B demand, so a single verified vehicle context can serve more than one channel.

## Condition evidence carries value

A used vehicle is worth what a buyer can verify. Inspection findings, service history, diagnostic results and prior work are therefore treated as part of the vehicle record rather than as attachments that get lost between systems.

The same evidence that supports a retail listing supports a trade valuation, so a dealer does not rebuild the case for the vehicle each time the channel changes.

## Authority boundaries

Dealer records, customer data, commercial offers, inventory mutations, financial actions and operational decisions require authenticated authorisation under JOY Governance.
